The Mayeaux Gate

A one-off commission for the Mayeaux family, which is how it got its name. The design can be built again — under its name.

The Mayeaux Gate closed across a gravel driveway, its dark iron leaves set between wood privacy fencing with lawn and trees behind.

A double-leaf driveway gate in a dark bronze-black finish, with a low S-curve top rail, diamond studs set into the solid top and bottom rails, and turned balusters between. Installed flush into a wood privacy fence line.

The Mayeaux Gate is the quietest of the named designs — a shallower curve and a plainer stud pattern than the Ham or Disotell gates, which lets it sit into an existing wood fence line without competing with it.

Because it reads as part of the fence rather than an ornament bolted onto it, this is the style to point a buyer at when they want privacy and a finished entrance without a statement piece.
